Keeping It Safe.
Over the years, the majority of our students’ parents have not had the experience of flying, so it can appear to the uninitiated that flying an aircraft is a dangerous activity.
It could not be further from the truth. Aviation as a whole is acknowledged as the leading industry for safety worldwide. Our culture is one of analysis and diligence, and when anything goes wrong in aviation, the industry as a whole works hard to find out why. If there is a problem, it is fixed immediately so that it has little chance of happening again.
It is a dire necessity for the aircraft itself to be as safe as possible. Here at IAO – Airways Aviation Academy – ESMA, we have an ultra-modern fleet of well-equipped aircrafts. These aircrafts are certified to the utmost highest of standards. Pilots around the world are sometimes discontent by the fact that a simple split pin for an aircraft can cost ten times as much as that of a car. The reason however is that it must be certified to a much higher standard.
Another essential element in aviation is the aviation grade aluminum. It is ten times more expensive and of a much higher quality than the normal aluminum you might find in your car. The reason is that it has to go through process after process of certification. Today’s aircrafts are the safest they have ever been. Our industry is a constant continuation of safety improvements.
The pilots themselves are prepared to such a high degree. In the 1940’s pilots were sent off to fly in battles – some with less than 20hours in the aircraft. A pilot flying for an EU airline now has to have a minimum of 1500 hours before they can be the pilot in command of the aircraft! The reason is to make everything safer.
Everything we do has safety running through the core. We constantly strive to make our students safer with training that is personalized to each individual. We never take a universal approach to training as we know everyone is different and learns at varying speeds.
Being Away From Home.
Here at Airways Aviation, we sympathize with parents who have to be separated from their children, especially if it is their first time away from home. However, what parents must know is that our academy is a welcoming and friendly environment. We excel at creating a global village of aviation that welcomes people from around the world and from all walks and cultures of life, and we promise that whilst receiving flight training, they will also have fun and make many new friends.
We appreciate the financial commitment many parents are making in order for their sons or daughters to pursue a flying career. Whether it is using your house as security against a loan or providing part or all of the fees, it is a prospect where you will want to narrow down any risks. In short, you need to know that your investment into your son or daughter will payoff.
Over the last 30 years of training students, we have an idea of what it takes to make it. As long as students apply themselves and can pass the medical requirements, there is always a way where students can make it through the process and eventually succeed.
In conclusion, rest assure that safety is a major priority in our field of work. We help students delve in their studies and encourage them to work hard to celebrate in the success. It is not only your children’s dreams to see themselves as pilots but also ours. We aspire to see all of our students in the coveted seat of the cockpit taking off into the horizon.
Rest easy on safety. We are proud of our industry and proud to be part of it! It is our foremost aim to keep developing the field of aviation.
